PS3 update 2.30 another waste of time for Hardcore Gamers.

Ugh. Yet another PS3 update with little on the front for gamers. Sure, you could argue that this new update makes the PlayStation Store more usable (which it does) but who cares?? So I can buy content quicker? Woo-hoo for Sony and their pocketbook. I want to know where Home is! I want to know where the benefit for the gamer is! But you know what I'd really like?? I would like to be able to charge my controllers without having to leave my system on! This is not an outrageous demand! It would save energy! Not everyone ties up their internet connection with "Folding at Home" Which brings me to another point...

How come every update seems like I'm downloading the entire operating system all over again? I know I don't have a fast connection. My ping is better than most, but my 512kbps up and down connection is sometimes ties up for over an hour with your update! What's my great benefit this time around (aside from said improvements to the store)? DTS-HD. 7.1 surround support for bluray.
